Bridgton Lake Region Rotary Club

Tuesday is our monthly Board Meeting.  It will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Community Center.

This Thursday is Club Assembly.  Next week Molly Brand is our speaker; her topic is the Cell Phone Exchange Program for Soldiers. 

The Dan McGowan Hays Rotary Scholarship benefit performance at Deertrees is coming up on August 4th.  There is a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by a sneak preview of Murray Schisgals's "LUV".  Tickets are $20.  Loraine Spenciner will have flyers at this week's meeting for you to take.

Annual dues are now due.  You can pay in full; $100/year, or $50 now and $50 in January if you prefer.  Please make checks payable to Bridgton Lake Region Rotary Club and give to Skip.
 

Our Annual Blood Drive will be Thursday, August 12th, 1 to 7 at the Bridgton Community Center. 

We need 3 to 4 people for 2 hour shifts; please see sign-up sheet this week.  This is being coordinated by Faye Daley. 

Our new District Governor, Ann Lee Hussey, will be visiting our Club on Wednesday evening, August 18th and attending our Club meeting on Thursday, August 19th.  

We are planning a boat ride at Kettle Cove Marina followed by a pot luck dinner at Cathy's on Wednesday August 18th.  Details will be forthcoming.  Please try to attend our Club meeting when she is here; it is always a good discussion of our District's plans for the year.
